CDWAVMP3 Pro · $19.99 one-time license

Rip a full 74-minute CD in 5 min 47 sec — and encode 99 tracks in one batch.

Pro unlocks the same engine our free users love, plus 99-track single-queue batch encoding, GPU-accelerated 2.1× speed on NVIDIA and Apple Silicon, FLAC/AAC/OGG/WAV sidecars in one pass, and a patented error-correction layer that recovers 96.3% of data from scratched discs iTunes rejects. One-third the price of competing suites. Trusted by 11 of the Top 25 US radio broadcast networks, including iHeartMedia regional clusters.

  • 99tracks per single batch queue — zero bitrate drops
  • 2.1×GPU-accelerated encoding on NVIDIA + Apple Silicon
  • 3.2%CPU footprint during a full-disc rip on M2 MacBook Air
  • 320kbps CBR MP3 output, FLAC/AAC/OGG/WAV sidecars

What's in Pro

Free vs Pro — everything you gain, nothing you lose.

Same CDA-to-MP3 engine. Pro adds the throughput, output flexibility, and broadcast-grade controls that DJs, podcast editors, and audio engineers actually need. Your existing rips, settings, and library carry over.

Free tier covers 90% of home users. Pro is built for the 10% who rip 5+ discs a week — DJs, podcast editors, audio engineers, and archivists. Cancel nothing: the free tier stays installed and functional after upgrade.

Trusted at scale

2.4 million downloads. 1 billion tracks converted. 187,000 Pro subscribers.

CDWAVMP3 runs offline, strips DRM cleanly on personal media you own, and never uploads a file to the cloud. The same engine behind the free online converter that handles 50,000+ files daily at peak — and the paid tier used by audio engineers at 11 of the Top 25 US radio broadcast networks.

Pro Feature Spotlight

Built for the people who rip for a living.

Three workflows from the Pro tier — each one designed around how DJs, podcast editors, and broadcast engineers actually move audio from disc to deliverable.

  1. 01 DJ Workflow

Queue 99 tracks, encode once, keep every sidecar.

Drop a full crate of CDs into the encoder and walk away. CDWAVMP3 Pro is the only batch ripper in its class that handles a 99-track queue in a single pass without dropping bitrate — every track lands at 320 kbps CBR MP3 with optional FLAC, AAC, OGG, and WAV sidecars written in parallel.

    Queue ceiling
    99 tracks / pass
    Bitrate floor
    320 kbps CBR
    Sidecar formats
    FLAC · AAC · OGG · WAV
  2. 02 Podcast Editor

Recover what other rippers throw away.

A scratched promo CD from a guest shouldn't cost you an episode. The patented error-correction layer in Pro pulls 96.3% of audio data from discs that iTunes and Windows Media Player reject outright, then writes fully tagged MP3s ready for your DAW. Chapter points, guest names, and ISRC codes are all pulled from CD-Text and MusicBrainz on the same pass.

    Recovery rate
    96.3% on scratched discs
    Metadata sources

    Tagged, chaptered, ready
  3. 03 Broadcast Engineer

    Bit-perfect rips at network scale.

Pro is the same build used by audio engineers at 11 of the Top 25 US radio broadcast networks, including iHeartMedia regional clusters. A 74-minute audio CD encodes in 5 minutes 47 seconds — 38% faster than the leading paid ripper in independent 2024 benchmarks — and the GPU-accelerated path adds 2.1x speed on NVIDIA and Apple Silicon systems when every rack-mount minute counts.

    Full-disc time
    5m 47s for 74 min
    GPU speedup
2.1x on NVIDIA / Apple Silicon
    CPU footprint
    3.2% on M2 MacBook Air

Documentation

Pro questions, answered.

The last-mile objections a free-tier user has before clicking buy — license terms, commercial use, refunds, offline activation, and what happens to your files.

  1. 01

What does the $19.99 Pro license actually cover?

One perpetual license, three machines, no subscription. You install Pro on up to three computers under your direct control, receive every minor and major update released during the lifetime of the 3.x branch, and keep using the last release forever — even if you let the update window lapse. Commercial and broadcast use are both included in the standard license; no separate "studio" tier exists.

  2. 02

Does Pro upload any of my audio to the cloud?

No. Pro runs entirely offline after activation, processes every file on your local machine, and never opens a network socket to send audio data anywhere. The only outbound connection is a one-time license-validation handshake with our activation server, after which the binary can be run on a fully air-gapped workstation. The free online converter at /online/ is a separate product — Pro is the desktop build.

  3. 03

Can I upgrade from Free to Pro without re-ripping my library?

Yes. Pro reads the same on-disk format as Free, so every MP3, FLAC, and sidecar you have already produced opens, re-tags, and re-encodes without a re-rip. Your existing queue presets, metadata templates, and disc-error logs are migrated automatically the first time Pro launches. There is no "import wizard" because nothing needs to be imported.

  4. 04

What is the refund policy, and how do offline activation and license transfers work?

Refunds are issued within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked, through the order receipt email. Offline activation is handled by exporting a one-time activation token from a second machine and importing it on the target — full instructions live in the /support/ knowledge base under "Air-gapped installs." Licenses can be transferred between machines by deactivating the old install first; transfers are unlimited and free.
